The eehar (Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueología in Rome) is a research centre belonging to the National Agency Consejo Superior de Investigacíones Científicas (CSIC), the main Spanish public institute for research.

The challenge of designing this logo was to combine the classic aspects of the Archeology and History with the new and contemporary vision of the research center. A redesigned Roman typeface stripped of its serifs was the chosen option to reach our requirements.
