This illustration is a tribute to one of my favourites movies, The Princess Bride by Rob Reiner. “Buttercup is a young woman living on a farm in the fictional kingdom of Florin. Her farmhand Westley, whom she refers to only as “farmboy”, always follows her orders, saying only, “As you wish”, which she eventually realizes is his way of telling her he loves her”.
One of the most beautiful love stories in an amazing film.

This illustration has been made by me on 100% cotton Saunders Waterford paper (300g/m2), using Liquitex acrylic colors, Faber-Castell colour pencils and Winsor and Newton watercolors.

Paper size: 18 cm × 26 cm (7″ × 10″).
